Terms & Conditions

Cancellations and Refunds:

​

  1. That’s the Spirit is not responsible if you book the wrong Event.
     

  2. It is your responsibility at the time of booking to ensure you can attend the Event.  All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. A refund or transfer of your place(s) will not be offered if you are unable to attend because our locations are paid in advance and we are liable for these costs even if you cannot make the Event.
     

  3. If you are unable to attend an Event, you are able to gift your tickets on but please ensure we are made aware of any changes to the booking. Customers are not permitted to offer their purchased places up for re-sale. That’s the Spirit reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who has not purchased tickets from That’s the Spirit directly.
     

  4. In the unlikely event that an Event has been CANCELLED, we will offer you the option to transfer your ticket to the new date for the same venue, transfer your ticket to a different venue or issue a full refund. Any transfer of Event will only include the cost of transfer of venue not additional packages (food etc.) unless paid for in the original booking.
     

  5. If an Event is CANCELLED either by us or the venue and we are not able to book another date, we will offer a refund or transfer to a different venue. You will be required to pay the difference in cost if the new venue is of a higher ticket value, or alternatively you will be partially refunded if the new venue is of lesser value. We can cancel an Event at any time for any reason at our own discretion. We will endeavour to ensure that every client is made aware of a cancelled Event as soon as possible. We will not refund any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of an Event, this includes travel and hotel expenses. 
     

  6. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours via the original payment method. We will not be held responsible for any delays BY THIRD PARTIES. Once we have processed a refund request it can take up to 28 days for the refund to be fully processed and returned to your bank account. This is beyond our control. Please be aware that any requests to refund via a different method will be declined.


    General
     

  7. Please do not arrive any earlier than 20 minutes before the start time stated on your ticket. That’s the Spirit will not be available to greet guests until 20 minutes before the start time. In some cases, we may not be able to allow guests access to the venue if you choose to arrive early. Guests should arrive no later than 5 minutes before the event is due to start. Guests who arrive late may be denied entry to the event once it has started.
     

  8. Tickets are not available for purchase at the Event.
     

  9. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for Drugs and Alcohol at Events. No drugs or alcohol are permitted to be consumed prior to or during an investigation. Anyone found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be in breach of the terms and conditions and will be removed from the Event.
     

  10. Some venues may allow smoking but this will be in designated areas only. In some cases, venues do not permit smoking at all on site. This is beyond our control, anyone found to be ignoring the no smoking request may be asked to leave by That’s the Spirit and/or the venue host as per their own policies.
     

  11. We expect all of our guests to be polite and courteous to team members, other guests and the spirits we are communicating with. Anyone found to be behaving inappropriately MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE. When appropriate we will give a warning and anyone continuing to behave inappropriately after a warning will be removed from the Event.
     

  12. If you damage the venue or any equipment used at the Event (not an exhaustive list) you will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged as a result of your actions. You indemnify That's the Spirit for all costs they incur as a result of these actions, including legal costs.
     

  13. In the event of an accident or illness during an Event, the situation will be assessed and appropriate medical attention sought. We reserve the right to refuse anyone who is unwell from continuing with the Event.
     

  14. As the purpose of the Event is to search for genuine paranormal activity, we ask that all attending guests do not try to manipulate or create any activity. Anyone suspected of manipulating or creating any potential activity may be asked to leave.
     

  15. That’s the Spirit accepts no responsibility for any clothing, equipment, damage to vehicles, parking fines, clamping of vehicles and all property and effects belonging to you. We would urge you to protect your property and keep all said articles safe whilst attending the Event.
     

  16. Please be aware that the venues we investigate can be in a state of disrepair at the time of the Event which means we may have to change the areas advertised at the last moment or we may not be able to enter certain areas advertised at all due to health and safety at the time of your Event. Your safety is paramount and we reserve the right to make these changes without recourse at any time. At That’s the Spirit we value all our clients and aim to make as many of our Events as accessible as possible but unfortunately due to the conditions of some of the buildings this is not always feasible and we have to ensure that safety is paramount.
     

  17. It is important that each client is aware that they attend the Events at their own risk. That’s the Spirit accept no liability for any accident/incident/injury to a client. All guests attend at their own risk.
     

  18. That’s the Spirit only use responsible and reputable mediums and paranormal investigators. However, they can only offer you their own perspective and this should be considered when deciphering information. You are responsible for making your own decisions about what you are experiencing and act according to your own beliefs not the beliefs of others. That’s the Spirit recognise that statements are the sole opinion of the medium, host, or investigator and not a reflection of That’s the Spirit policies and opinions. There are no guarantees in relation to what is truth and what may be an offered opinion.
     

  19. The use of cameras, filming and recording equipment is permitted on our events subject to limitations. Any footage caught is deemed to be for personal use only and not for public view and ownership of this footage either audio or visual belongs solely with That’s the Spirit. Before commencing video or audio capture you must advise anybody being recorded so that they are aware and have the choice not to be included. It is also imperative that you seek consent from the That’s the Spirit Office by email before releasing any audio or visual footage into the public domain and this includes Facebook and personal websites. This is to ensure that our guests, events and our locations are not compromised in any way.
     

  20. That’s the Spirit may record or film any Event. By booking to attend an Event you authorise That’s the Spirit to record or film you and share the recordings or footage in the public domain including for promotional use.
     

  21. People taking part in an Event should wear sensible clothing and footwear. Warm clothing is also advised as temperatures tend to drop during the twilight hours and this is particularly recommended for any outside Events.
     

  22. if food is consumed at event That's the Spirit are not responsible for any allergies etc.
     

  23. If any provision or part of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid, That's the Spirit can make amendments by the addition or deletion of wording as appropriate to remove the invalid part or provision but otherwise retain the provision and the other provisions of this Agreement to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
